Domain Names
When you commission a website with West Web Technology, included in the package will be a domain name. This will serve as the "address" of your website, for example
www.exeter-sausage-house.co.uk
This is the address (sometimes referred to as the "URL") that you will then be able to use to advertise your website on publicity literature etc. The ending of the address is called the "top level domain". You can choose from a wide range of top level domains including:
- .co.uk
- .com
- .info
- .net
- .org
- .me
- .biz
- .eu
- and more.
If you already have a website with a domain name that you wish to retain, we will be happy to transfer your domain from your current provider and manage it on your behalf. Alternatively, we are happy for you to manage your own domain if you prefer.
One domain name is included with every website commissioned with West Web Technology (either new or transferred). We are happy to maintain additional domain names for your website at a small additional charge.
